I was running late for work so I came here to grab some food before I had to go into work. It's pretty decent Mexican food for fast food and I will say the price was really good for the amount of food that I got. My one suggestion is they need to melt the cheese more for their enchiladas. I do not like half melted cheese on my enchiladas so they should definitely change that but overall, it wasn't horrible. It's pretty decent for the price

Good service and accurate order even though it was a difficult order with lots of substitutions

This is, by far, the best spot in Tucson for fast/late night/drive thru Mexican food. El Potosino has never disappointed me and I've been coming here for years. The food is the best in Tucson. They use French fries in their burritos, instead of potato chunks like the lower standard competitors. The portions at this place are always good. The price is always fair. I don't recall ever having to wait long for my food. The staff are always nice and the restaurant inside is always clean. The 24/7 hours are a staple for me, as I have been here at varying hours of day, night, and why am I awake hours in the past. This place is comfort food for me. The glow of the sign is a welcome beacon where I can replace my worries and sorrow with amazing food. If you have never tried this place before or have never tried French fries in a burrito before, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I am not a fast food lover, but I will make an occasional exception for a burrito from one of the many yummy options in Tucson. It was past lunchtime when my mani and pedi were done and I was headed home. Did I want to make lunch when I got there... or did I want something hot and delicious made for me? A block from the nail salon I noted El Potosino on Speedway just west of Pantano and my decision was made. The car ahead provided me a moment to peruse the menu and I decided on a pollo asado burrito, for $8. A supreme edition added beans and guacamole, but I did need to gild the lily, lol. Salsa was offered and I opted for green. My burro was still hot when I unwrapped it on my kitchen table and Oliver, my kitty boy, was entranced by the fragrance and was very interested in sharing. Sorry, baby. The burrito was huge. The tortilla was thin and soft with the tasty charred spots I like. The chicken was plentiful, flavorful, and tender, stuffed into the tortilla with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and rice. Definitely enough to share - if I wanted to. Divine! El Potosino may become a necessary stop after all my nail appointments.
